Liliana Castaneda
Liliana Castaneda was born in Cali, Colombia. At only 6 months of age, her parents moved to Rockford, Illinois where she was raised. She eventually moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Her next step is to achieve her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She believes psychology and the special classes she has taken such as Childhood Development will be very much applicable in her future career in Occupational Therapy where her main interest is to work with small children. Presently she is shadowing Occupational Therapists in order to prepare herself for her future as one herself. Her main goal in the field of Occupational Therapy is to have her own practice where she will be to help children with autism, cerebral palsy and other disabling conditions and help them to develop to the fullest of their potential physically, mentally, and emotionally. Columba Yebaile
Columba was born in the United States in 1981. She was raised in her parent’s country, Venezuela. Since young, she has shown a special interest in caring for little kids. It was this interest in children that later on, made her decide to become a teacher. Columba has and Associate in Science in Early childhood Education and an Associate in arts in Special Education and is presently finishing her bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education at FIU. She has worked in the classroom for 6 years. Currently, she is teaching at a pre-school class at United Way Center for Excellence. She loves being in the classroom and her long terms goals are continuing her education and to be the best teacher she can be.
